I would like to thank the BUL team wholeheartedly for organising this journey. I really enjoyed the nine-day expedition through different parts of Kyrgyzstan. We saw some of the country’s most beautiful places, where the landscape can change completely in just 50 kilometres.
Thanks to well-prepared vehicles and skilled drivers, we visited breathtaking gorges with imposing, majestic cliffs, waterfalls sending torrents of water sparkling in the sunlight, and lakes hidden high in the mountains whose colours you need to see with your own eyes at least once.
Delicious food and comfortable accommodation for those who appreciate the comforts of civilisation were an integral part of the route. I especially want to thank the team for balancing activity and rest. After fairly long drives and mountain hikes, there were rest days when you could simply lose yourself watching the waves of Issyk-Kul roll onto a shore of coarse, reddish granite sand.
The rugged and incredibly beautiful vegetation of the foothills, snowy peaks, the crunch of little stones beneath trekking boots, the taste of wild apples — it all becomes a symphony that leaves you full of energy.
Throughout the journey, our hosts gave us a warm welcome and did everything they could to leave their guests with the best possible memories of the country and the expedition.
